About
Portadam
As the innovator of a portable membrane cofferdam
system, the company maintains twenty-five years
of experience in manufacturing, distributing and installing
a temporary cofferdam system used for water diversion
and water retention. By using a unique, proprietary
free-standing steel support system and impermeable fabric
membrane, the temporary cofferdam product allows many
types of in-water construction to be accomplished in
a dry condition. Our system also eliminates the need
for environmentally harming excavation or fill, costly
pile driving equipment or time consuming and unstable
sandbag dikes.
