CONTECH Appoints Keating President and COO

Will assume responsibility for all CONTECH products’ operating units

(WEST CHESTER, OH, July 27, 2007) – CONTECH Construction Products Inc. announced today Ron C. Keating will be appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of CONTECH Construction Products Inc., effective August 15, 2007.  Keating will assume responsibility for all product reporting units including day-to-day operations of the company.

Harlow, CONTECH’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.  “As we pursue additional acquisitions and look towards global expansion, Ron’s leadership will be crucial in maintaining and building on CONTECH’s history of outstanding financial performance.”
            Keating comes to CONTECH from Kennametal Inc. where he was President of its $1.7billion Metalworking Solutions and Services Group. Prior to that, Keating held other leadership positions at Kennametal. He also served as a Vice President and General Manager at Ingersoll-Rand.
            Keating holds a BS degree in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University, and an MBA from Northwester University’s Kellogg School of Management. Keating and his family will reside in Mason, OH.
